Four brand-new themes to explore every facet of the ocean

A week to explore the ocean, marvel at its wonders… and become an active participant in its protection. Give your child much more than just a course: a real scientific and human adventure at the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco. For a week, children explore, experiment, create, and get involved to better understand and protect the marine world. Supervised by passionate scientific mediators, they embark on a mini-expedition every day, combining scientific discoveries, hands-on activities, games, and creativity.

🎒AN EXPLORER’S KIT FOR LEARNING, OBSERVE, AND LEAVE WITH USEFUL AND LASTING MEMORIES
At the beginning of the course, each child receives their explorer’s kit. Depending on the themes, they will receive a booklet “100 Facts,” a pin, a coloring kit, a sketchbook for drawing, an identification guide to the Mediterranean, etc.

  • In which language is the course held?
    French only.
  • Is the meal included?
    Yes: breakfast + afternoon snack are included.
  • What should bring my child?
    Cap, water bottle, sneakers, and comfortable clothing
  • Can I modify or cancel after payment?
    Once the order has been confirmed and payment has been registered, no changes or refunds will be possible.
  • At what age can my child join Club Oceano?
    The camp is exclusively reserved for children aged 6 to 12 years old.
  • Can I register my child for two or three days?
    No, registration for Club Oceano is only for 5 days, Monday through Friday.
  • How do I make a reservation?
    I fill out the form online, I add the product Club Oceano to my shopping cart via the ticket office online and I choose the week of my choice. Once the payment has been made a confirmation email will be sent to you with all the details of your order. a36> confirmation you is sent with all the information necessary.
Le centre de soin sera un espace de médiation environnementale
Les tortues, baromètres de l’état de santé des océans subissent la plupart des pressions que l’homme exerce sur l’océan, des côtes à la haute mer : urbanisation, surpêche et prises accidentelles, collisions, pollutions ou encore accumulation de plastique.
Le destin des tortues est entre nos mains
Les tortues ont été capables de s’adapter à des évolutions importantes du climat et des milieux marin et côtier depuis 150 millions d’années. Aujourd’hui, nous imposons des changements bien plus rapides et leur sort dépendra de notre capacité à leur laisser une place sur les côtes et à gérer nos activités pour préserver l’océan.
Le centre de soins
S’appuie sur l’expérience du Musée océanographique pour secourir, soigner et relâcher les tortues marines, il permettra de développer notre capacité d’intervention, en appui avec les services locaux (affaires maritimes, capitainerie, pompiers…) Et s’inscrit dans un réseau méditerranéen de soin des tortues, en partenariat avec le Réseau Tortues de la Méditerranée Française, le Centre d’études et de sauvegarde des tortues marines de Méditerranée.

Réalisé dans le prolongement du Musée, en bordure des Jardins St Martin, ce centre sera central pour venir au secours de tortues blessées à Monaco et dans la région.
Si le chantier se déroule comme prévu, ce centre pourra ouvrir dès 2018. Il sera composé d'une clinique de soins et d'un bassin de convalescence. Ce dernier, situé en plein air, sera intégré dans la visite du Musée. Tout en permettant aux tortues soignées de se remettre en toute tranquilité et sous étroite surveillance, les visiteurs pourront observer ces animaux et ainsi être sensibilisés à leur fragilité.
