Label monaco safe

The Oceanographic Museum has been awarded the Monaco Safe label, guaranteeing visitors and event organisers optimum health conditions by implementing the barrier measures and preventive measures recommended by the Monegasque government.

1st floor

Area: 1400 m²

Maximum capacity: 300 people

Daylight: yes

The rooms on the 1st floor offer an incredible voyage to discover the oceans. Surrounded by our historical collections and temporary exhibitions, impress your guests over a dinner cocktail. Can be privatised in the evenings.

VIP lounge (ground floor)

Area: 300 m²

Maximum capacity: 150 people

Daylight: yes

The VIP lounge is bathed in light, houses an imposing sculpture of Prince Albert I, Founder of the Museum. Its central position means it can host intimate cocktail evenings, in the direct vicinity of the main entrance and the Conference Room.

The Conference Room (GROUND FLOOR)

Area: 500 m²

Maximum capacity: 500 people (250 for seated meals)

Its proportions, the wealth of its furniture and the harmony of the décor form a prestigious ensemble for organising your events. Fitted with a 10×6 m screen, it is perfect for conferences, film showings, seminars and more. It can also host your cocktail evenings and gala dinners. Can be privatised during the day and in the evening.

Terrace

Area: 500 m²

Maximum capacity: 200 people

Daylight: yes

At a height of 85 metres between the sea and the mountains, the terrace offers exceptional panoramic views over the Mediterranean and the Principality of Monaco. Perfect for al fresco cocktails and dining. Can be privatised in the evenings.

The Swallow Room and the Princess Alice Room (LEVEL -1)

Area: 80 and 42 m² respectively

Maximum capacity: 54 and 48 people respectively

Daylight: yes

The Swallow and Princess Alice Rooms are equipped with video projectors and will be perfect for your study days, meetings, coffee breaks and meals. These two rooms combined can host up to 112 people and offer an unbeatable view out over the Mediterranean. Can be privatised during the day and in the evening.

The Aquariums (LEVEL -2)

Area: 800 m²

Maximum capacity: 600 people

Daylight: no

The living collection displayed in the Museum’s aquariums contains several thousand specimens, including over 300 species of fish, 300 species of invertebrate and a hundred or so species of coral. The aquariums are the perfect location for beginning your evening over a cocktail or ending your seminar day. Can be privatised in the evening, for 2 hours after it closes to the public.

The Turtle Room (LEVEL -1)

Area: 100 m²

Maximum capacity: 100 people

Daylight: yes

This room, which overlooks the Odyssey of Sea Turtles pool, offers unbeatable views of the Mediterranean. It is fitted with a video projector for meetings, and has a separate entrance from the Museum’s forecourt. Can be privatised during the day and in the evening.

Sea Turtle Odyssey (NIV. -2)

Area: 200 m²

Maximum capacity: 100 people

Daylight: yes (outside)

Following on from our aquariums in an outdoors area looking out over the Mediterranean and adjacent to the Saint Martin Gardens, “The Odyssey of Sea Turtles” is devoted to these emblematic and currently endangered animals. Can be privatised in the evenings.
