Your ticket gives you access to all of the areas: the aquarium, museum, permanent and temporary exhibitions, “The Odyssey of sea turtles” (partly located outdoors).
We also offer combination tickets (with the Prince’s Palace, the Animal Garden, or the car collection of H.S.H. the Prince of Monaco…): check the prices on our online ticket office.
Your tickets can be purchased online or at the ticket window, on site. For each ticket purchased, we donate 5 centimes to the Marine Protected Areas in the Mediterranean.
Means of payment: credit card, cash, checks bank checks. No tickets will be refunded or exchanged.

How to get to the museum?
By bus
From Monaco, take bus line 1 or 2 towards the “Rocher” and get off at the terminus, Place de la Visitation.
From Nice or Menton, the bus n°100 serves Monaco.

On foot
Pedestrian access from the Place d’Armes, via the Avenue de la Porte Neuve or the Major ramp and then the Jardin Saint-Martin.
By train
Thanks to several trains per day, you can reach Monaco from Nice, Cannes, Menton but also Marseille, Toulon, Genoa…
A partnership with the SNCF even allows you to obtain a special rate.
By car
The Museum of Monaco is located on the Rock, a district of the Principality.
The Pêcheurs car park, based under the establishment and having more than 500 spaces, will allow you to park in the immediate vicinity.
The elevators and escalators will take you directly to the main entrance.

We would like to inform you that the restaurant “La Terrasse ” is currently closed to visitors for annual vacations from 06/01/25 to 24/01/25 inclusive. You are on the terrace of the Oceanographic Museum: an observation deck between sky, land and sea, it is also the highest point of the Museum -and of the Rock- at 85 meters above the Mediterranean Sea… You can have a meal at the restaurant La Terrasse or simply quench your thirst in the Lounge area…

The museum is open to all ages
Only guide dogs and assistance dogs are permitted in our establishments. Their official guide or assistance dog identification card must be presented upon request; no other document or form of proof will be accepted. Pets and emotional support animals are not permitted, even with a medical certificate. We do not have kennelling facilities on site, but a facility located a few metres from the Museum can accommodate your pet. For further information, please contact them on +377 93 30 63 76.
Only level -1 is accessible via the stairs. The other floors and rooms in the Musuem are accessible by lift.
You can choose how to organise your day. The Palace is 5 minutes’ walk from the Museum.
