THE ESSENTIAL FOUNDATION OF TROPICAL MARINE LIFE

Long called “flower animal”, “stone tree” or “sensitive plant”, the coral is a marine animal that lives in colonies with other individuals of its species. Together, they form true oases of life: the coral reefs. These are home to over 4,000 species of fish and thousands of plants and animals of different shapes and colours. 30% of marine biodiversity is found in them, even though they represent only 0.2% of the oceans!
